REVIEW: Loreal Voluminous Full Definition Mascara

Did you guys know that I really hate most mascaras? No? Well I do. They just always are too greasy or too clumpy! I have very long thick lashes, so it's very quick for me to tell if a mascara is going to work or not. But this mascara, WOW. It's everything I've ever wanted and more in a mascara!

This mascara comes in three different colors:
Black
Blackest Black
Black Brown

The packaging for this doesn't beat around the bush with it's shape. It's just a long, cylinder shape with a rose gold body and a shiny gold for the cap. That shiny gold is also used for the print on the packaging. I really like how simple, yet elegant this is, It's not all bulky and awkwardly shaped. Just a plain `ol tube of mascara.

Now let's move on to the wand. Like the packaging, this wand is sleek and simple. The tip of the wand has a wonderful shape, almost like a bullet. The end is tapered a bit which makes it very easy to coat those lashes on the inner corner of your eyes, along with your lower lash line. As with most products, the formula gets clumped up at the end of the wand, so be sure to wipe off the access back on the tube.

I don't believe this is waterproof, seeing how it runs down my face when I take a shower. But it does come off fairly easily with makeup remover/vaseline. Oh, a very good note about this (not there are any bad notes) is that this stuff DOES NOT flake on you. I find that it keeps my lashes coated well throughout the day without budging at all. You can quickly put this on the ends of your lashes for a simple, more natural look, OR, you can go all out and add a couple coats for thick long lashes.

Would I buy this again? Hell yes. I'm very picky about what makeup I wear and i'm very much sold on this mascara. Doesn't mean I won't try out others though. :)

If you have any questions about this mascara, please feel free to ask in a comment below! I hope you all enjoyed reading this and I'm sorry it took longer than expected to get this review up! Been feeling kinda crappy the past few days, but am a lot better now!

Hope you all are having a wonderful week :)

PS
I recently reached 20 followers and decided I'd like to host a small giveaway :)
I'm still gathering some prizes, but keep an eye out over the next week for the giveaway post! <3

REVIEW: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner

I've mentioned this bad boy quite a few times! It's about time I get a review on it for you guys :)
Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner in Trooper is a form of liquid eyeliner. It comes in a small selection of other colors which I will list below.

Skater - deep blue
Maya - deep brown
Lapdance - rich plum
Biker - dark smoke

They all come in a sleek black packaging that is very pen like. Silver lettering describes the product's name along with sizing information and the place it was made (korea)

Now the best part about this liner is the tip. It's not your typical felt tip liner by any means! It's actually a brush! It's very soft and flexible, making it easy to do quick and precise strokes for that perfect wing.
"Achieve dramatic eyes and create temporary tattoos with this water-resistant must-have that brings out the artist in you. The innovative brush tip makes it easy to make your personal vision a reality."
I haven't made any temporary tattoos with this, nor do I think I will. I can vouch for that water-resistant part though. Once this liner sets, it will not budge. I've showered and cried while wearing this (not at the same time) and it stayed put. As soon as makeup remover or vaseline touches this though, it comes off with ease WITHOUT staining your eyes! One of the other things I love so much about this liner is the fact it doesn't leave anything behind after removal.

I should also mention a couple of side notes on this product.

After opening, this will be good for 6 months
Color payoff is very very opaque
 0.02 fl oz/0.55 mL

I hope you all enjoyed this review! I have another one that will be listed in a day or two on the Loreal Voluminous Full Definition Mascara!

Thank you for reading, and I hope you all had a great weekend!

So my best friend is extremely artistic and talented and has her own OC (orginal character) named Griff!

(art by my friend katie)

and in his human form he looks like this!

(art by my friend katie)

Griff is part Barn Owl part Cat! I based my look of the picture above but made it work with more of my face shape! It didn't turn out perfect, but was super fun to do and i'm very happy with the results! The video isn't the best, but I do have some pictures of the finished result! Hope you enjoy!

PRODUCTS USED:
-elf eye primer
-coastal scents 88 palette
-wet n wild color icon liner in black
-maybelline studio gel liner
-nyx jumbo eye pencils in black bean and milk

(shy griff hehehe)

ALSO not shown in the video was that I applied blush to the lips and tip of my nose! Not just the cheeks :3
