UPDATE!

Hello!

I just want to apologize for the long absence! Life threw a pretty shitty curve ball my way and I think things are finally now okay!

Plus, I have GREAT NEWS!

My wonderful boyfriend bought me a laptop! So I am going to start playing around with the idea of doing video tutorials (that's IF I can figure out how to work windows movie maker, lol!)

I've wanted to start a makeup/beauty channel for a long time and even though it might not be the best quality, it will be a great start! Anything is better than nothing! I also have a pretty nice HD camera and if the SD card fits into my lappy, I can make videos with that as well! It's just something I'll be working on over the next month or so!

But 25 days from today (6-25-2012) I'll be on vacation! Im so excited and even have a cute little countdown on my phone :p I plan on going shopping for a new swimsuit along with all the other little things we need for our trip! I love travel sized anything, so it will be super fun to get ready this early!

I know some people might think it's crazy to plan this ahead of time, but I'm just that kind of person! So is my boyfriend :p This is just something really special for us cause we've been planning on going on some sort of vacation for over a year and we're finally making it happen! We're going to an amusement park one of the days so I probably won't wear anything beside sunscreen that day, BUT, I do have some super cute looks in mind and will hopefully get some pictures up to share with you when we get back!!

Well, that's about all I have to say for now! Hopefully in the next week i'll have SOMETHING nice for you guys to read! I did the most beautiful look using my Paris Palette and you guys just gotta try it out for yourselves if you can!

I hope you're all doing well!

VICTREEBEL

So for my fandom inspired look today, I chose to do my favorite pokemon, Victreebel!
Here are some pictures of the look :)

Prime your eyes

Apply a nice white base using NYX's jumbo eye pencil in milk

apply the white base all around your eye, if you look crazy, you're doing it right! :p

(( now these next few photos are just of what colors i used! sorry i didnt get any application shots! ))

apply a matte yellow on your lid. pack it on good!

then take a shimmery yellow and apply it over the matte yellow and along the inner corner of your eyes and down to your bottom lashline

apply a shimmery yellow-y green on the outer part of your lid, blending it in towards the yellow

take a slightly darker green and work it into the crease and along the bottom of your lashes. take a very very dark green and apply the color into your lashline. add a bright pinky blush, some mascara, and pink lipstick of choice :)

now victreebel has these shapes all along its body, so i took MILK and drew little shapes just around my eyes. I filled them in with a light green then went in with a darker green to kinda add some depth and more shape to it. Throw on a wig and a yellow dress, and you're good to go! :D

LEGEND OF KORRA

So although I haven't been watching the series (for my own personal reasons) I know how popular and loved this show is! One of my dearest friends kinda helped me with the idea for colors for this look too! I'm not 100% happy with this look, so I think I will do one or two more interpretations! But I hope you guys do like this look nonetheless :) I had a lot of fun with it!

Okay so I primed my eyes first with ELF's eye primer, then I took MILK (NYX's jumbo eye pencil) and applied it all over my lid, under my eyes, and used it as a highlight under my brow. I then blended it all out.

I then took a couple of shimmery white colors and really packed them into the inner corners of my eyes and then swept them right under the inner corners on the bottom lash line.

I took the lightest shade of blue from the paris palette (orsay) and applied it to the middle of my lids. I also added the medium blue (louvre) to the end of the lid and took the darkest blue (seine) and swept in into the crease and down under my bottom lash line (just on the very outer corner) I then took that middle shade of blue again, and applied some more of it on my lid and blended it with orsay, and then applied it and blended it on my lower lash line.

I took a soft taupe color and used it to blend out the harsh blue lines along my crease and blended it up just under my highlight.

Using a coppery/coffee color of shadow and an angled brush, I lightly applied it along the top of my upper lashline.

Curled my lashes and applied a little mascara

then added a nude lip and some darker blush to my cheeks and was done! :)
I hope you all like this look! Be expecting another variation of this in the next week or so!
